This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody status, release a person, post bail, change a court date, retrieve property, or pull official booking records. For an official answer, contact the agency that holds the record or controls the custody decision.

Official Sutter Release Contacts

Use the office that matches the question. A Sutter County Jail release is usually handled by the Sheriff's Office or VINE first; the court record explains the order or case event; probation and CDCR apply only when supervision or state prison is involved.

Sutter court copies have their own fees and timing: court staff searches over 10 minutes may cost $15, copies are $0.50 per page, certifications are $40 per document, and copy orders are listed as 7-10 working days.

  • For a released inmate or release record, start with the home page search path and the jail, VINE, court, and PRA steps.
  • For county probation, mandatory supervision, PRCS, or state parole distinctions, use Post-Release Supervision.
  • For a very recent release, use 24-Hour Releases and confirm through VINE, the jail, or court records because Sutter does not publish a confirmed standalone feed.
  • For a tentative date or custody-change alert, use Release Date Lookup and VINE Inmate Check.
  • For a facility-specific issue, use Sutter County Jail, Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center, or CDCR.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, CDCR and BPH are usually the right agencies, not the county jail.
  • For a federal or immigration custody question, use BOP or ICE channels instead of the Sutter jail roster.
